PayCad International Ltd ("PayCad", "we", "us") operates a digital payment platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, phone number, email address
• Transaction information: amounts, recipients, timestamps, and the service used
• Device and usage information: device type, IP address, app version

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and wallet
• To process transactions you authorize
• To detect and prevent fraud
• To communicate service updates, receipts, and security alerts

How we protect your information

PINs are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text. Payment credentials for third-party gateways are encrypted. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel.

Sharing your information

We share transaction data with payment processors (such as Yo! Payments and Flutterwave) only as needed to complete a transaction you initiated, and with government authorities (URA, KCCA, Uganda Police) only for the specific payment you're making to them. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us. Some transaction records may be retained where required by financial regulation.
